Some people love to be at the Belgian beach. I have to say I am not one of them. I am not the person who wants to be around very busy, crowded places. Not only that, but I really enjoy the sound and smell of the ocean but in a very calm deserted place.

Pictures at the beach always give an atmosphere of a holiday feeling. Some pictures I took from a very low, crowded beach of Blankenberge in Belgium, with a superb view.

When I am in Blankenberge, I always want to pass a special restaurant. The restaurant is not famous for its Michelin stars or very high-level dishes. It is a restaurant that started in 1885. It all started with the distribution of fish and started as one of the firsts in Belgium to farming oysters. These days, this place is very well known for its seafood. The lobster is the star of the chef, and he shows in the pictures the passion for his job.

The quality of the food is the freshest you can get. The lobsters you can choose for dinner, are still swimming in the restaurant. You just need to pick the one you would like to eat. I love the authentic atmosphere, it’s simple and all nostalgic from the past. Some photo’s I took:
