Yesterday I saw the Belgian Baloise Tour finishing in the city of Beringen in Belgium. I have been spending lots of time training on the mine Terrill with my MTB. It has one superb build MTB/enduro mountain!

Beringen is well known for its history with coal.

There have been many years spent in the mines digging for coal. Lots of people outside Belgium came to get jobs in the mine. Beringen is still one very multicultural city.

I wanted to capture historical buildings with my Leica. Below you will find the old entrance of the mine.

Taking the picture in black & white feels like getting back in time. Black & white photography always brings more dept in pictures, witches I really love. Below you find some more pictures I took on my walk.
