Connecting with the natural world and wildlife.

We visited Pairi Daiza for the first time during Christmas 2022. We didn’t have the finest weather at the time, with two days of rain, but it was still a wonderful experience. With summer in full swing, we anticipated pleasant bright warm weather and scheduled a stay. The house was located between the bears, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience.

We arrived at the brand-new Pairi Daiza welcome facility. The new hall was spectacular and phenomenal. All of the details demonstrated a passion for animals, and with the tiny shops coming up, it reminded me of Disney World. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, but it did not damper spirits.

After completing all of the requirements at the welcome desk, we entered the park. Because of its gorgeous temples, the Pairi Daiza kingdom is one of my favourites. Old structures are meticulously recreated with great regard. There are several worlds built to accommodate the animals in their natural habitat. I want the photos to speak for themselves.

I adore the Ganesha kingdom in Pairi Daiza. The Temples, dwelling places of the gods. Sacred architecture at the service of man and the deities they worship: Ganesha, Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu and Buddha. Lush vegetation, wonderful Thai craftsmanship and stunning views of elephants, white tigers and mischievous macaques. It delves into the inexhaustible treasures of the Indonesian archipelago and Southeast Asian countries. It’s like entering a completely new universe, with assured enchantment.

As previously said, elephants are the most significant animals in this kingdom, and there are plenty of them in Pairi Daiza. They even create a home so they may play in it by inserting their proboscis through the openings. A little gallery of this amazing animal.

In the photographs, you can see where we slept. It is situated among brown bears and beautiful deer.

The creatures are fascinating to see and continue to inspire me in every way. It is all about seeing them in areas where they are happy rather than in cramped cages. Here are some more photos of the lovely park.

It’s interesting to connect with animals and the natural world. Do you want to meet them in the wild after seeing them in such beautifully prepared environments?

It certainly speaks to me, and I want to see it realised one day.

Thank you very much.
