Brugges by night

My 600km ride part two

As I told you in a previous blog. I was more than happy to spend my night in Brugges. Before my sleep, I went for a 10km walk into the beautiful historical city. I was just too excited to be back in Brugges again. With my Leica cameras around my neck, it was the moment to capture the beauty of its history.

Entering the city walls always brings a smile to my face. There is are so many beautiful monuments I wanted to capture in a photo. Pictures show my view entering the city walls.

The last image I could not resist taking. Moto Guzzi, the bike brand which I ride, exists for 100 years and is very nostalgic. I saw this authentic Moto Guzzi standing in a shop. It just made me one happy guy.

I continued my 10km walk as clouds started to enter Brugges. No rain was expected but it gave some brilliant images when the sun was slowly getting below the surface.

I did shoot a lot of images on my evening walk. It is nice to breathe the history on every corner of the street. Working with my Leica Monochrome (Black & White camera) brings that extra dimension to the images.

The pictures are speaking for themselves. It is time to call it a day and enter the last day of my trip.
