Moto Guzzi V7

I have a very strong connection with Italy. When I am there I feel at home. It is not only the country, it is the passion of the people. The passion for life and their passion for food. To enjoy basic products and turn them into beautiful dinners.

I also have these feelings about their bikes. I loved the Vespa’s design and the story behind the Vespa is one incredible story. See the movie, Vespa and you will know. My deepest respect for the love Mr. Piaggio gave to a lot of people around the world when they had the hardest time during the war.

I felt I wanted to stay in the Piaggio group. Piaggio is also connected with Aprilia and Moto Guzzi. I love the 100-year nostalgic Moto Guzzi brand. It has character and it breathes Italy. When I jumped on the bike I felt straight away. I was home… I do really hope I can continue this road for a long time and sincerely hope no medical issues will put me on hold. Some images I took of this Italian beauty.

I love the freedom on two wheels and discover new places in the world. It is my everything and it feels like a deep breath of air when you ride between mountains, fields of grass, or other beautiful landscapes.

My ride with the Vespa realized, that I need this to keep me going in this hectic world. There has been a lot negative in the world the last year and the motorbike rides do escape me from all. All the news makes the world go in fear. Fear to get a virus, fear that our freedom has been gone. Freedom to explorer the world, to travel, and meet new people.

I just want to ride and discover. When I get wet because of rain so it will be! I don’t care. I just want to go where I want to go without any fear or limits. Freedom and the connection with mother earth and the sun are the strongest there is. When I can capture beautiful pictures on my road, brings me to total happiness.

One motor ride did bring me to a more than 1000-year-old oak. This tree deliveries incredible strong energy.

Pictures are taken with me new Leica M Monochrome and a 50mm Leica lens. I love these images.

There is a lot more to come as this feels like the start of one new chapter in my life. Thank you to the authentic brand of Leica where I finally have the soul in pictures, thank you to Moto Guzzi to create a bike with a soul which I am able to handle in my rides of freedom! Feeling blessed!
