I just love to ride two wheels like you maybe already did notice in my previous blogs. I had a lot of health issues in the past which forced me to make decisions. Those decisions were quitting cycling which I loved. Especially mountain biking has been my favorite. It gave me total freedom to connect with nature and explore new locations.

Just one year ago I had a complex ankle fracture. Because of the injury, walking is not the easiest anymore. There is still metal in the ankle which makes long hiking distances very hard. I am happy to be still able to walk. My adventures are very important to me. I love to explore and connect with nature, it helps me to ground myself. It does me realize which beauty we have and be great full for what life brings.

Having my history with two wheels and my connection with nature combining I realized that the Moto Guzzi V7 ( which I love to ride) had its limits for my adventures. The bike is a pure classic road bike and is not made to discover gravel or sandy roads. I had a very nice conversation and the possibilities to test bikes at my Moto Guzzi dealer. It showed me the road to more adventures.

My first ride did bring me to Aachen Germany. A 240km ride with even a little ferry boat to pass the river, the Maas. When you look at the bike and how it looks, there is a lot more travel in the suspension and the bike has off-road tires. It gives me so much comfort and the ability to get where I want to get the images I want to shoot.
