The lyrics of Twisted Sister inspired the title. It has become a Harley-Davidson slogan throughout the years, but it can equally be called my own.
Ever since I was 12 I have enjoyed riding on two wheels, as previously indicated. I used to be a motocross rider, but a broken back forced me to retire.
However, the strong call for this two-wheeled freedom convinced me that riding a Harley Davidson is my way of life.
Already as a child, I was fascinated by the leather jackets with all different kinds of tokens Harley riders wear so proudly, and I still am today. Having health issues on my former bike, made me consider new options and today I am very pleased to show you my new Harley Davidson Softail custom build.
I will continue to go on trips on my bike since it is my way of life. On my specially outfitted bike with the help of two side bags and an extra seat to accommodate my camping and camera gear, it will transport me to the adventures I enjoy so much.
As a photographer, I work with nostalgic Leica cameras, so it’s only natural that rides bring life brought me to this nostalgic motorcycle. I’m excited to keep finding discovering new places throughout the world.
I adore the first new kilometers! I feel one with the bike, and the tranquility I experience makes me grin. I have had a lot of health challenges in my life, but being able to ride my dream bike without any pain makes me consider myself very fortunate and blessed.
It’s all about learning the lessons life has to offer. These lessons weren’t and aren’t always the most pleasant ones, but when I embrace them with love and gratitude, I can continue on my life’s path, and I am more than happy.
Life is full of ups-and-downs but when you give it your all to make the most of it, you will see that there are always chances and you will always be able to ride your own custom-build life’s path.
I am eternally grateful for all of life’s opportunities.
Continue to pursue your dreams!
Het is geen uitspraak van mij, maar een zin van Karen Kay, maar hij past perfect bij jou: “Uit de vieze modder groeien mooie bloemen”
