A new horse to ride in new and interesting ways.
I’ve always adored Harley Davidson, and it still seems like home to me. The tale it tells and the freedom it provides. I had to quit riding my freedom bike due to serious health difficulties. But I couldn’t flip the page and abandon my beloved two wheels. I looked for a solution in every possible method. This remedy was not available at Harley-Davidson.
I tried out various bikes to see whether I could ride without pain. There were few alternatives left. However, in addition to my everyday labour, I require the ability to recharge.
I rode the BMW R1250 GS motorcycle more than 12 years ago. At first glance, I thought this bike would be far too large for me and difficult to handle. It did appear to me to be a large tank. But getting on the bike would lead to an adventure I had not anticipated. The 250kg bike would transform into a feather that behaved like a bicycle the instant it started moving. When people asked which bike had taken my breath away, I told them this one. I always provided the same response. The BMW R1250 GS delivered in every way.
Years passed, and I observed this bike on nearly every street corner, to put it another way. For years, it has been the best-selling adventure motorbike, and all of the reviews and tests you’ve read about it have consistently crowned it the obvious winner.
In my quest to reclaim my world on two wheels, the BMW R1250GS reappeared in my path, and I got the opportunity to test it once more. And there you have it. The identical sensation I witnessed years ago. There was no discomfort in my body while riding, and I felt at ease.
My wife pushed me to make it happen, and with the fantastic assistance of BMW Motorrad Dealer – Winge Motors, it all fell into place. I went with the R1250 GS adventure model. With the 30-litre gasoline tank, I can cruise with my family and be comfortable on any route. Yes, adventure road, and most importantly, travel with it.
I miss the flexibility of being on the road and capturing these amazing places in photography. The Harley didn’t let me do it, but it handled like a rocket ship to me. I adore it, and it is still extremely difficult for me to let it go. However, sometimes we must make decisions due to medical reasons in order to see things that would otherwise be invisible.
There have been many difficulties in my life, but I cannot be angry or unhappy with my physique. I am grateful for what it provides me and happy that I am still able to pursue my passion for two wheels.
As you read in my previous blog, adventures are on the way, and as you can see, they are. Even though the tunnel is somewhat long, there is always light at the end.
The first kilometers are put on the bike, and I enjoy spending time with it with my children and wife.
Despite the fact that days are short in November, I am looking forward to showing you some experiences and road trips.
Always have faith in a solution. It might be difficult to learn life lessons, but I think that life is a learning process.
If we don’t get it, we’ll turn it back on our plate to learn it properly.
I am thankful for this wonderful life.
Thank you very much.
